Race classes for Aberdare Park Road Races 2025 confirmed

Aberdare Park Road Races are happy to confirm the prospective race classes for the the 2025 event.


From the Ultra-Lightweight to Supersport machines, there is a wide range of classes available and as always we're keen to ensure that grids are full to make the racing experience even better for riders and spectators!


Registration information for the 2025 event will be available in due course. Please keep an eye on our website, social media channels and subscribe to our email list for news.


Ultra - Lightweight

Only 50cc, 80cc single cylinder and 125cc street-stock & 125cc free-stock machines are eligible.


Lightweight

Any machine between 125cc GP - 399cc is eligible.


Super Twins (The Sound of Thunder)

Machines over 300cc up to 700cc 4 stroke with 2 cylinders: up to 740cc four stroke single cylinder.


Classic Superbikes (Golden Era)

Open to any machine up to 750cc 4 cylinder 4 stroke and up to 1000cc 2 & 3 cylinder 4 stroke and rotary machines manufactured and raced pre 31st December 1997.


Supersport 600 (Park Challenge)

Over 400cc up to 636cc 4-stroke 4 cylinders. Over 400cc up to 675cc 4-stroke 3 cylinders.


Welsh Open (Both Legs)

Any machines up to 636cc 4-stroke 4 cylinders. Up to 675cc 4-stroke 3 cylinders. Up to 700cc 4-stroke with 2 cylinders, and up to 740cc four stroke single cylinder.


CB500 & 600 Bandit

Honda CB500, Kawasaki ER500 & Suzuki 600 Bandit. Machines Only Maximum 600cc 4-Stroke twin. See technical regs page for further information


Super-Moto

Any Super Moto Machine up to 700cc running to BSCC regulations.

(Please note riders in this race must hold either National Supermoto or Road race licence.)


PR6 Open Parade

PR6 Vintage and Classic Lightweights.


All participants must be aged 18 years and over.
